Treasurer Report –See last past regarding financial statements on Tea App, WindanSea $5000, Pa Bendall $8215, Club House $17980
Don raised a motion to thanks David Cover for all his hard work looking after the financials for the club

Grom Report –Hunter away.
Not much has been happening with coronavirus.
Grommet and Junior State Titles Round 1. Grommets surf the Sunny Coast and Juniors went to Dbah.
Groms who competed in under 12s
Zac, lucky to score a spot on the day, 4th in his heat. 
Lucas got a 3rd in heat.
Cale made it to the semis with a 3rd.And Hunter won the finals….yeah the boyz.
Groms who competed in u14s
Toby Cover 3rd in his heat.

Juniors who competed u16s
Elijah made it to the Semi finals. Yeah Lij.
Junior who competed in u18
Caleb Pont made the quarter finals, yewwww
And Cam got a 3rd in the finals, yeah the Cam
We have a team for the Nudie boardriders battle, Deano and Aj sorting it out. 
Groms are off to the Goldie this weekend for second round of State Titles. Junior surf the following weekend up here. Good Luck everyone. 
General
AGM will be held straight after all positions will become vacant and nomination that have been received for all positions expect Vice President .Thanks to Mick Andersson for being on committee the last few year and all his hard work
Live Heats – information was given to members on the use and cost of Live Heats for our monthly comps and possibly the Pa Ma Bendall. Everyone was in support we will look at possibly getting a grant to cover costs of equipment needed ,but at this stage we have a $2000 COVID grant that we received we can use towards it 
Motion 1 for the club to make use and get the Live Heats application By Bec seconded David – all in favour 
We need people to judge at the comps, we will try a judge’s register with times to try to get more people involved 
Lilly would like to get Surf Culture going in the Club and also asked about getting more women involved in the club ,it was decided that if we only get a few in each of the divisions we can let them surf twice to give them more time in water
Motion 2 to allow divisions with only small numbers to surf twice by Brett seconded Murray –all in favour 
It was decided by all in attendance that the Small Men’s Division which was a trial was unsuccessful as there is no longer interest in it at each comp and the people competing in it are doing well surfing in the opens division, so no more small men’s

Club House Update from Don Smith 
The club house will be built as per Don Smith
Don would like the Club to acknowledge Brad Williams for the work he has done since the start, Don Estimates well over $100k in costs saved by Brad doing what has been able to do, Thanks Brad from all members 
Don would also like to acknowledge Tim Hinley for his efforts as well, he has organised the Ecological report to be done at no expense to the club, Thank Tim from all members, and this report showed there is no reason why the club house can’t be situated on the land at Buderim St 
Expert witness are required by all parties, WindanSea the Council and the Appellants
We fortunately have had a lot of these witnesses prepared to work for nothing saving a lot on costs 
Traffic report is not an issue, Acoustic is not an issue with a 6am to 10pm time of use 
Social Plan by Laurel Johnson with an analysis of all submissions was very well done
Visual and Amenity plan was done by Jason Daley and Tim Henley 
We are using Cardinal as the Planning Report thanks to Brad who was able to get them to work a greatly reduced rate 
We are looking good as far as costs with monies available ready, we haven’t had to pay any costs yet, the fighting fund is looking good
The barrister will be a coast as we need him to represent club for a period of 3 days when it goes to court possible in November 
Thanks to Jason and Tim for the sponsorship proposal a very professional document which will be taken to corporate and other possible sponsors
All people who have supported the project financially will be acknowledged someway 
We still have the $140k grant to build the actual building 
Big thanks to Don Smith for all of his work, we fortunate to have someone like him willing to put in the hard work

Kawana Aquatic Programme closing very soon, if you considering going to Kawana State College it’s a very good course that existing members of the club are doing 
50th anniversary still planned for November 
Club has entered the Nudie Board riders Battle
