 Hopefully will be able to start training and running comps again but will have to be aware of numbers, we will wait for official confirmation from Surfing QLD we expect something shortly
 Lawrie and Gary asked the committee to see if we could use the T shirts we had done for this year’s Bendall and put a print on Cancelled for CO VID19, it was decided to keep the shirts for next year Ewan can fix up and reuse and the sponsors hadn’t gone onto shirts anyway, it will also a be a cost we can save on for next year 
 Murray will talk to the 50th committee regarding the cost of tickets and also the contact details after some sample brochures were looked at 
  Security money was refunded and also liquor licence was also refunded 
 David will buy a small EFTOS terminal to be used when we return approx. $65

As I have been successfully elected to Sunshine Coast Council as a representative of Division 2
I can no longer be involved in any discussions, phone calls or emails pertaining to the Clubs position in
Defending our Development Application for our Clubhouse. I will take a step back from all matters in relation to this but will, if the Club agrees to maintain my role as President and still be involved in any other Club matters.
I have discussed this with Council and they agree this will be sufficient.
 
Ps With my announcement at
Our last club meeting in regards to stepping down if elected, it maybe in our best interests to ask members on our team app for an endorsement to stay on.

On page 22 of the constitution Appendix A is says there about the President is an automatic inclusion on the board of the club house 
 I spoke to Terry last night and he’s happy for us to ask your thoughts
,we just want to make sure nothing is wrong if he was to stay on as the President or should he possibly have to stand down as he’s unable to have anything to do with the Club house appeal due to a possible conflict .
He does want to stay on and has spoken to CEO who said it was fine as well.
We just want to make sure as a committee we aren’t doing anything wrong regarding the constitution

Good Morning Tim,
The President’s automatic inclusion in the proposed sub-committee mentioned on page 22 of the Constitution does not come into effect
Until such time as clause 42 (2) on page 20 has been satisfied. That is, the formation of the sub-committee mentioned in Appendix 1 is
Subject to the Association obtaining all relevant approvals (which is now the subject of an appeal) at which time the association will in future regulate the use of the Facility in accordance with
The provisions set out in Appendix 1.
Accordingly the current discussions & voting will be included is your normal executive committee meetings.
If you, as Secretary, set an Agenda for an executive committee meeting which includes discussion on the proposed facility or the appeal,
Terry Landsberg as President would need to absent himself from that particular meeting, as a result of a conflict of interest,
And another Chairman elected for that particular meeting.
Having now reviewed the Constitution, I see no legal reason why Terry Landsberg could not remain as President,
As long as he does not participate in any meetings involving decisions to be made in respect of the Community Clubhouse Facility.

Tim,
As a further suggestion, I advise that as there are usually many other agenda items to be discussed at Executive Meetings,
Terry Landsberg, as your President, could attend each meeting,
As long as he was required to leave the meeting room while discussions took place about the Club House Facility & appeal,
And your Minutes of the meeting accurately recorded the fact that:-

Terry left the meeting room at a certain time;

A temporary Chairman was elected for the discussion on the Facility agenda item;

That Terry took no part in the discussion or voting on that topic.

That Terry was called on his mobile to re-enter the room for the balance of the meeting and record the time that he resumed the Chair.

Terry left room at 635pm so we could discuss Club House, Mick took over running meeting as Vice President
Tim Hinley and Jason Daley have been working on the sponsorship proposal to be sent out to people to raise monies to fight the appeal, the draft document was very well done and David will speak to Tim and Jason regarding some changes such as advising people that there is a risk involved in giving money, we thought the document was well presented for actual a sponsorship proposal when the appeal has been won,
Looks like we have some funds already committed.
